Samyang 35/1.4 @f10, twilight (seconds after the sunset); D600 Spikemosses are part of Clubmosses family which are evolutionarily the oldest ferns and as such the oldest land plants on Earth. Mature leaves of this Spikemoss (Selaginella willdenowii) develop complex adaptations that result in visually striking iridescent blue colour we see. The blues are particularly striking in low light (and at certain angles). I have seen similar blues among some other ferns in subtropical Australia, especially after or around the sunset, but the colours were less intense.
