Robinia Blossom ; Strandzha Forest
Sigma 50 A @f2, morning; D600
Robinia was part of native flora in the late Miocene Europe. It is even speculated that its origin was in the Old World (spreading to America during Miocene). Likely the glacial maximums had impacted this genus survivor on the continent.
Scent of the flowers is intense and very pleasant. The tree is abundant in places over much of the region and occupying its niche it seems to coexist well.
